SAMPLES: CHARGES, SHIPPING & APPLIED TOWARD ORDERS
Samples of our beautiful woods are available upon request at minimal costs. Standard pieces approximately 18 inches long and 6-18 inches wide are offered at the charge of $10.00 per SF, each unstained and unfinished. They are mailed by regular mail.
If you would prefer samples stained and finished, the cost will be $20.00 per SF plus the cost of shipping. Payment for the samples must be paid by a major credit card at the time of placing the order. Samples can be sent overnight upon request. Should you have any questions, please call (518) 398-0049.
When flooring orders are placed, any sample charges that have been paid will be applied towards the total charge.

ORDER CONFIRMATION
Both a signed order confirmation and a 50% deposit are required to
initiate your order. A portion of the deposit may be un-refundable if the milling process has been started and the order is canceled. Deposits may be made by any major credit card for immediate processing of your order. If you pay by check, you may delay the processing of the order until the check has been received.
CHANGES ALLOWED UP TO TWO WEEKS. We will allow changes to species and widths and other dimensions as long as they are made within two weeks of the date of deposit. If substantial additions are made, a new deposit may be required.
SQUARE FOOTAGE
You are responsible for quantity estimates. Please review the order confirmation carefully to make sure the sizes, quantities, and species are what you ordered. A signed order confirmation constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions of the sale and acceptance of the order as it is written. We can calculate the square footage for you if you give us a set of plans or room dimensions. However, we prefer that your contractor or architect provide us with your SF requirements and we will add our standard waste factor to that number.
LEAD TIMES
Lead times begin upon receipt of your deposit and signed order confirmation, and ends on the date of shipment from our facility. These times are based on our best information at the time of the order. Lead times are normally 4-6 weeks, but we will constantly try to meet shorter deadlines. Antique and Vintage Woods is not responsible for transit times issued by our shippers.

SHIPPING
Orders not delivered by Antique & Vintage Wood’s truck will be shipped freight prepaid by common Carrier or truckload carrier. All prices are F.O.B. Pine Plains, New York. Please note that the driver is not responsible for the off-loading of your material from the truck. If the order is shipped via our AVW truck, the customer is required to do a tally of the material with the AVW driver, before the wood is off-loaded. Refusing to do this tally will make the customer responsible for any and all discrepancies.
DAMAGE
If an order arrives damaged due to shipping, the customer should note the damage on the freight bill before signing the bill of lading and contact us as soon as possible. Do not un-bundle your order if it has been damaged.
PAYMENT METHODS
Final balances are accepted by either a personal or business check or credit card prior to delivery. If the balance is paid by check, please allow 5 days prior to the delivery date. Most of our customers pay by credit card to assure that there is no delay in your delivery. We accept American Express, Visa, Master Card or Discover.

NOT READY FOR DELIVERY?
At the time of your order, arrangements are made with your Sales Representative for a shipment date. Unfortunately, orders held at our facility beyond 30 days, will incur a storage fee of 1% per month of the total invoice value, unless there is prior approval from the Sales Manager.
CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS
All cancellations and returns must be in writing. There is a 20 % restocking fee for canceled orders which were simply pulled from our inventory stock. If your product was specially ordered for your project or milling has already been completed from your specifications and not yet been delivered, the 50% deposit will be forfeited. Returns for 80 % credit will be accepted up to 30 days from the delivery date. All returned product must be in its original state as delivered and as determined by AVW.
INSTALLATION
We strongly suggest an experienced wood flooring professional for all flooring installations. We maintain lists of qualified installers in our surrounding area and would be happy to recommend installers from that list. For maximum stability, all flooring material must be acclimated in the space where the floor is to be installed, prior to laying the floor. The acclimation varies in different geographic locations, however, a minimum of two (2) weeks is recommended.
