Refrigerator ATTENTION TO DETAIL shows here with the owner's own idea for a chestnut refrigerator door with antique hardware.


Dining Room

Dining Room EXPANSIVE DINING AREA with 2 full walls of windows shows off the floor. The only finish here is hand-rubbed oil.


Pickled Pine Plank

Pickled Pine Plank PICKLED WIDE PINE PLANKS were used for the upstairs floors for a lighter feel in the brightly lit rooms.


Pine Plank Ceiling

Pine Plank Ceiling WIDE PINE PLANKS with authentic iron nails are used for ceilings and some walls to create a barn-like feeling throughout the house. Antique light fixtures are used throughout.


Floor

Floor MINIMAL FLOOR COVERINGS allow this beautiful chestnut to show off. A variety of widths from 4 to 10 inches were used.


Stair Detail

Stair Detail DRAMATIC STAIR DESIGN gives a breathtaking view of the sun-filled living room. The fireplace just to the right was built with stones found on the property.


Stairs

Stairs WELL-PROPORTIONED STAIRS were designed by the owner and feature "slabs" of chestnut and metal banister details.


Bathroom

Bathroom BATH DETAILS include custom-built cabinets, shelves and sink base. A lighter wood was used for the mirror for contrast.


Front Door and Closet

Front Door and Closet CLOSET AND ENTRY DOORS made of Antique Chestnut. Hinges and latches were collected from antique shows one at a time for authentic detail.


Hilltop Fantasy Farm

Hilltop Fantasy Farm This new farm home incorporates antique chestnut and wide board pine flooring, doors, walls, cabinets and beams to create a look that blends in with the land and homes around it.
